OMG 1000 VIEWS OMG!

I have finally done it. I have actually got to 1000 views! I thought this day would never come (well thats kinda true!) Who would of thought that a blog made on the 25th of February by some unknown person would get this succsesful! I just wanted to have a blog but I NEVER thought so many people would want to literally have a looksies at it. I have views from all over the world in fact I shall tell you were they are from right now! (These stats are from the blogger website!) I have had views from these countrys:
South Korea, Netherlands, Greece, UK, Ireland, America (U.S.A), Germany (you guys are also a big fan!), Russia, Brazil, China, Ukraine, Poland, France, Australia, Austria and finally Venezuala! I'm not sure how they have just come across my blog but I'm glad and very happy that they did! I also have to give credit to people for getting my blog out there because I can't take all the credit! When I first had my blog I didn't really know or have anyone to helping me to get the public (You AWESOME guys!!!!!) to see it but over the months (LOL!)  have come across many ways of getting it out there without the help of Facebook, Twitter, Instargram, tumblr! Just the old fashion e-mail really! I have to thank Independant Fashion bloggers (heartif.com) because I hae come across many cool and AMAZEBOZ fashion blogs and people that have helped me along the way! Who have obviously spread the word about my blog. And like I said in the "100 views well more OMG!" post (which only felt like yesterday.......) I have to thank my frends and family for also spreading the word!  Also putting the link to my blog on there's like Fashion detective, Tallulah the journalist behind Now THATS news and ~CaroliNERD the journalist behind Just turn the page.
I hope youhave enjoyed my ong speech about all the help and thankyou but the most important thing about having a succsesful blog is...... Having supportive and friendly (don't forget AWESOME) fashionistasta-like viewers like YOU! So......

Made at keepcalm-o-matic! P.S AKFB= Another kinda fashion blog LOL!
And as a celebration I went down to Peckam ( well thats NOT the celebrational bit!) and bought £1.00 conclear from Superdrugs and an AWESOME top from  a little and very cheap (don't foret fashion-like!) shop.

This concelear was on £1.00 from superdrugs and its fab! It's by MUA a lovely make-up brand with cheap prices!
I finally got my hands on a GEEK top!!!! This was just £1.99 in that shop! (My mission is to find out the name of that REALLY cool shop!)
Another kinda thing that made my day was an e-mail I got from Magisto (that movie editing thing!) saying.......
Woohoo! Wanna have a look at that video! Then click this! good-friday-OMG!

Interview with Fashion Detective OMG!

Yes I have interviewed famous fashion blogger Johanna Payton, the blogger behind fashion detectives and awesome trend setter. She has featured in many famous magazines like: fabulous, Look, STYLE and been interviewed by BBC1 extra plus ME! So here's the interview hope you enjoy!
First question: Did you have to get any qualifications to do the job you do and if so what were they?
Jo:You don't have to have any specific training to be a freelance journalist but you need some knowledge of your chosen field (that could be anything from fashion to gardening!) and a really good writing style. Some training definitely helps though: I did an English Studies degree at uni, but you can also do journalism degrees or post graduate training and there are journalism colleges where you can do courses too.
Question 2: What university/college did you go to?
Jo:University of Huddersfield
Question 3: Are you your own boss and if not would you like to be and why?
Jo:Yes I am. I always wanted to be my own boss because I was late for work every day and didn't like having to do the same journey every day. I also wanted to make my own decisions about the kind of work I did and to be able to work around having my own family, which is much easier when you're self employed.
Question 4: Did you make your blog because you like it or is it because you liked it and you were/ are getting paid to have it?
Jo: only started making some money from the blog last year so that's definitely not why I started it. I wasn't writing that much about fashion and that's what I really wanted to write about: the blog helped me to get new contacts in the fashion industry and show new editors and clients that I could write about clothes. It is also TONS of fun to write and although I started off writing once or twice a week, now I update it every day so there is always fresh stuff on there. Now I get a little bit of money through sponsorship and advertising it's a bonus, but definitely not the reason I do it.
Question 5: What made you want to become a journalist and blogger?
Jo: I've loved writing since primary school and started thinking about becoming a journalist when a teacher suggested it to me at the age of about 10.
I've been blogging on and off since 2003, right back when it started in the UK, and I really love the freedom to write about anything I choose. When I write for magazines and papers I have to make my writing sound like their style and write about things their readers are interested in - but on the blog the readers like the same things as me (most of the time!) so I can write about all the things I love and feel passionate about (like Topshop!)
Question 6: Has anyone famous in the fashion industry met you because of your blog and if so who was the most famous and cool!?
Jo: Hmmm, I've met a few famous people through the blog. Not a fashion industry person as such but I met Lydia from TOWIE when she opened her own boutique - she was really nice. And I once got to go to a Stella McCartney fashion show through the blog (but I didn't meet Stella!)
Question 7: Was it hard becoming a journalist?
Jo: It took a long time to get established as a freelancer and loads of people want to be journalists and are willing to work for free just to get published, so you are always up against lots of competition and have to fight to get paid sometimes.
Question 8: have thought of  becoming an author someday?
Jo: I've written a health book and that was fun - I would like to write a fiction book, and maybe a fashion book, but it takes a really long time and there's not much money in it (unless you manage to come up with an idea as cool as Twilight!)
Question 9: What is the best bit about your job?
Jo: I love meeting new people, I enjoy all the variety that my job has - and obviously I love going to cool events like Fashion Week and getting the odd free dress!
So there you have an interview with Johanna Payton! If you want to take a looksies at her AMAZEBOZ blog then here's the link: http://www.fashiondetective.co.uk/

Diet Coke OMG!

The time has come for Diet Coke to do a NEW design and what fashion designer have they picked... Marc Jacobs, cool! I love Marc Jacobs fashion lines there always so creative, I mean even his name is creative! (I'm talking about the "C" instead of a "K") These new Diet Coke cans are so cool and bright I love his use of colour! The other cool thing about this is you could win a free Marc Jacobs bag, dont mind if I DO!
There amazing! the colours are just beautiful and really creative! To me it feels like he has scanned his sketchbook designs on a can of Diet Coke! Am I right? these are really inspiring and I cant wait to get my hands on them! I think these are better than Jean Paul's ones but they were nice take a looksies if you cant remember!

The ones by Jean Paul lack some creativity in away..... There based on Madonna's style of fashion back then (luckily she doesn't wear these sort of clothes now, ooh I don't even want to talk about it gross, granny....wearing....lace...leotard...) anyway I think Marc Jacobs ones win for me! I also found some other designs which I think are out in foreign country's like France or New York

The animal fur is by Robert Cavalli
But there is also something amazing about Diet Coke! There NEW advert, if you haven't seen it then your missing out! Oh, okay here watch it here right now! Its even ( dare I say it!) Cooler than the free bag you coulde win! OMG!!!!

I cant wait to get my hands on these new Coke cans go on the website and find out when the release date is at:http://www.dietcoke.com/

p.s I don't even like Diet Coke, oh well!
